The new 'normal' in knitting classes

Way back in April, I’ll bet most of us thought life would be back to “normal” by now. Time has proven us wrong on that front. It’s now looking like we

will have to find new ways of doing things.

I hoped to be teaching classes again by now. But I was learning and planning for the possibility that wouldn’t be happening. After weeks of planning and practicing, I’m ready to teach you all again; this time on Zoom. Zoom allows us to see each other in real time. If you’ve done all you can with YouTube tutorial, it’s time to Zoom!

I’ve teamed up with Lost Art Yarn Shop in Traverse City to teach Basic Cuff Down Socks. If you are local to Traverse City, you can call or stop by to sign up. If you are not local you can contact me directly.

Time: Wednesday July 22, August 5, 12 and 19 from 10:00 to 11:30 am on Zoom.

Cost: $60.00

Class participants will be sent the patterns and Zoom class link by email prior to class.

In addition to the sock class, I’m very excited to be teaching at the inaugural Fiberworld. In case you haven’t heard, Fiberworld is a next level virtual fiber show. You’ll be able to take classes, watch demonstrations and presentations as well as shop multiple vendors, all on one site. I’ll be teaching four classes over the weekend. As of this writing, the class list is not up yet but it will be soon. Check out the website for times.
