It’s almost time for the next pattern release for A Knitter’s Gallery of Mitered Squares. Allow me to introduce you to Bella of the Ball. This charming shawl is the largest of the club projects but also the simplest to knit. The color and texture within the yarn required a simple mitered square to really shine, so there is lots of garter stitch and only a little lace per square.
The yarn is Bella Lino from Classic Elite. This Linen/viscose/cotton blend yarn creates an airy yet warm fabric for chilly spring and summer evenings. It is a self-striping yarn that comes in lots of pretty spring colors but we chose the natural color for ours. The pattern will be available April 15. You’ll now have something to look forward to on tax day. If you are already a part of A Knitter's Gallery of Mitered Scarves Club, you'll get the pattern in your Ravelry library on April 15. If not, you can still join here.
