Julie Asselin Yarns Fino (75% Merino, 15% Cashmere, 10% Silk - 400 yards/115 grams) in Midnight Oil. 

 

GAUGE

26 stitches and 35 rows over 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch on smaller needles. 38 stitches and 35 rows over 4 inches in Reversible Twisted Rib (RTR) on larger needles. Be sure to work RTR BO row. 34 stitch cable band = 3.5 inches. 

 

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 

Chest: 37 (40, 43, 46, 49, 52) inches  

To Fit: 31 – 34 (35 – 38, 39 – 41, 42 – 45, 45 – 47, 48 – 50) inches

Simply Detailed Vest

This vest is worked in three pieces and sewn together. Garter stitch accents around the armhole add interest to the otherwise stockinette stitch vest. 

​

Materials

600 (670, 760, 850, 950) yards worsted weight yarn, 1 - 1 1⁄2” buttons. Sample is knit with Why Knot Fibers UnSalted (50% Coopworth, 50% Alpaca) 250 yards in color Plum.

​

Needles

24” circular US 6 and US 7 or size required for correct gauge.

​

Gauge

18 stitches and 24 rows over 4 inches in stockinette stitch on larger needle.

 

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
